Dr.
Gregory M. Fuller was born in Selma, Alabama, and reared in Buffalo,
New York. While living with his parents, he attended the Buffalo Public School
System. He attended his first year of college at Syracuse University majoring
in Psychology. God had other plans for his life. He was called into the ministry
at age twenty. After being called into the ministry, Dr. Fuller sought to better his knowledge of God's word and enrolled in the American Baptist College in Nashville, Tennessee. While attending American Baptist College, he was called to pastor the Mt. Zion Baptist Church in Smyrna, Tennessee. God blessed Dr. Fuller and the Mt. Zion family with a membership that overflowed the existing facilities that led to the building of a new sancturary.
After graduating with honors from American Baptist College, Dr. Fuller was not satisfied with his Bachelor of Arts Degree. He enrolled in Morehouse School of Religion where he completed his Masters of Divinity graduating with honors.
Dr. Fuller, still seeking new and innovative ways to better himself in the ministry, began work on his doctorate degree. On October 14, 1996, he graduated with commendations from the United Theological Seminary in Dayton, Ohio with his doctorate of Ministry Degree.
In September of 1992, Dr. Fuller answered the call to pastor the Mt. Oliver Baptist Church of Macon, Georgia. He served Mt. Olive Baptist for six years. Both he and the church were blessed during his pastorate.
In October of 1998, Dr. Fuller united with the Macedonia Baptist Church in Augusta, Georgia. He served as Assistant to the Pastor until assuming the pastorate in September of 1999.
Like Solomon, Dr. Fuller asked God for wisdom and understanding to lead His people, his commitment extended beyond Macedonians. God placed in his spirit to "Take the City" Spiritually. His prayers are being answered.
The church is prospering spiritually, numerically, and financially. Pastor Fuller's continued prayer is to lead God's church daily to become "Kingdom Builders." This effort will lead to the reality of "Taking the City for Christ."
One of Dr. Fuller's favorite scriptures is Philippians 4:13, " I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me." And he adds, "AND YOU CAN TOO."
